Design

Our experienced team creates styles that complement the look of each vehicle. Through the use of the latest CAD software this group brings to life both innovative styles and timeless designs.

Engineering

Precision and quality have been the foundation of Billet Specialties and remain the foundation of our B-Forged Wheels. From record setting wheel designs that have tackled the Bonneville Salt Flats at over 435 MPH to award winning wheel designs seen on America’s Most Beautiful Roadsters, we engineer our wheels to the highest standards in the industry.

Programming

The precise detail of each design is coded by our Engineers assuring you will receive wheels that meet our quality and style standards.

The Start

Lathe Turning

All B-Forged near-net raw forgings start off with the lathe operation. This process prepares the forging for machining the design into the center.

Machining

Utilizing the latest CNC machinery and tooling along with over 30 years of experience, each forging begins with the turning operation in one of our CNC lathes.  The resulting wheel centers are then transferred to the milling department where they are precision machined to exact specifications.

Finishing

All finishing is performed in-house. Powder coat finishes start with careful surface preparation followed by thorough cleaning to remove any contamination. The powder application in our clean environment and precise cure times in the oven, result in one of the finest finishes available in the industry.

Final Assembly

Before the assembly begins, each wheel component is meticulously inspected. Once assembled, both the lateral and radial run-out is checked to ensure a vibration free wheel. Final fastener torque is completed and the sealant is applied to the thoroughly cleaned surface.
